A fresh European-spec 2017 Subaru Impreza has been uncovered by the Japanese car maker before the vehicle’s anticipated debut this September at the Frankfurt motor show.  

The revolutionary new iteration of the brand's Ford Focus counterpart preserves its predecessor’s striking set-up of a flat-four boxer powerplant as well as symmetrical all-wheel drive. Attentive customers have already spotted the all-new Subaru Global Platform underneath.

Evidently, it brings the car’s body approximately 5mm closer to the ground, with the producer claiming that it has drastically enhanced agility and handling. The car maker also tells that the 2017 Subaru Impreza will offer us updated steering responses.

Subaru is expected to disclose the precise specifications of the car’s new powerplant, though car experts are assured that it’s just a developed variant of the old vehicle’s 1.6-litre engine. Most probably it will boast more powertrain options.

Sharp and in line with the producer’s performance vehicles – that’s what can be told about the new car’s exterior design. Both European-spec and US versions with share the same interior.
